Matthew K refused a simple request

Matthew K refused to follow a straightforward request to make a simple DNS zone edit. He clearly thought he knew better and decided to make changes to...

the .htaccess file instead. When I noticed what he did I came back on live chat and asked why he hadn't followed my request. He denied I ever made the request. After I referenced the previous chat history to show otherwise, he then claimed I must have spoken to someone else. I had to provide a screenshot showing his name directly attached to the conversation we had only a couple of hours earlier. When I repeated the request for the DNS change, he again insisted it wasn’t necessary, saying his edit to the .htaccess file was good enough. It wasn't. I asked to speak with another representative, but he ignored this repeated request. He then put me on hold again, saying he would review the chat transcript, even though he'd done that several times already. He eventually put me on to a new agent but left me on hold with no intention of coming back. It was at this point I'd had enough. Overall, it was an extremely unhelpful and frustrating experience.

y site was down for two full hours. that's not okay. now i'm actually scared to do any restores again. i talked to their ai for 30 minutes until i got so frustrated i demanded a human. the human basically just told me to wait. not happy at all with hostinger right now.
