AwardSpace, founded in 2003, pioneered free web hosting without ads, serving millions of users worldwide. Based in Kiel, Germany, with a data center in Sofia, Bulgaria, it offers free plans alongside paid shared, WordPress, semi-dedicated, and VPS hosting. I value their instant activations and one-click CMS installs, which help beginners launch sites quickly. With 99.9% uptime and 24/7 support, AwardSpace focuses on affordability and simplicity. However, free-tier users sometimes report reliability issues like downtime or redirects, making paid plans better for serious projects.

AwardSpace is a reliable budget hosting with generous resources!
I’ve hosted my website with AwardSpace for over a year now and they’ve proven to be one of the best affordable providers I’ve used. Their plans come with generous resources, solid performance, and pricing that’s hard to beat for what you get.
Their in house control panel may not have all the advanced features of cPanel or or Plesk, but it handles everyday tasks smoothly and is user-friendly enough for most site owners.
Support has always been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve reached out. My only sugggestion would be to add live chat for technical issues to make contacting the team even quicker. Still, for the price, the service is excellent.
If you’re looking for reliable and cheap web hosting, I’d definitely recommend giving AwardSpace a try.
