Cloudways support is really good. The Ai tool helps to solve some of the problems and then the real agents are good at finding other issues. You get through to support pretty quickly too. I dealt with Areeb today. Very happy with support.

Today, Nehal was the one who helped me out, but honestly, every single person I’ve worked with there is just as fantastic. They’re always quick to respond, super kind, professional, and endlessly patient.

I struggle with even the simplest tech tasks; my brain just doesn’t click with them, and help articles tend to overwhelm me (probably my ADHD acting up). After 7 months with Cloudways, I can say they’re a solid host. The speed and uptime are excellent, and while the dashboard is a bit slow, it’s very user-friendly.

Their support is decent, though it can take some time to reach a human agent and even longer to get an issue resolved. From my perspective, their pricing is not very competitive, especially considering how cloud hosting prices have been decreasing over the years due to lower hardware costs. They should consider lowering their prices.

Laiba was exactly what I hoped for when I asked for help.
She was polite, provided human answers, and shared documentation links when needed. She was flexible and patient, especially when things weren’t going smoothly, but also kept things light-hearted at the right moments. In the end, my website is live with Cloudways, and I’m really happy with the result.

Cloudways speeds are impressive, and the uptime is excellent. I haven't experienced any downtime in the past two months since I made the purchase.

However, one downside is that email is not free; it's only available as a paid add-on. When I purchase a VPS, I expect email hosting to be included, especially since even the $3 shared hosting plans include email.

Cloudways is doing a great job simplifying the management of cloud hosting and I like that they don't limit the number of website I can host on the VPS which allows me to host all my 4 websites on the same server.

But, they should decrease their prices since they don't really offer hosting and even the backups are paid and not included for free.

I have been using Cloudways for more than 5 years and they used to be on of the best hosts I have used to host my websites.

Their support was amazing and their respond times were very short, they usually answered within a minute or two. Currently, their support is not good at all, you can wait for 15 minutes before they reply to your livechat.

The deterioration started when they introduced their new paid "Support Add-on", if you want to get a decent support you need to pay a monthly fee of $100 or 10% of your invoice (whichever is higher). The price could also increase to $500 per month for the "Premium Support".

So, I need to pay 2-3 times the cost of the server if I want to get a good level of support!

Another annoying thing is the fact that they increased their prices (for no reason) and without increasing the resources of offering any new features.

For example, the smallest Vultr plan (Vultr 1GB) currently costs $14 at Cloudways white the same virtual machine with the same resources costs $5 only if you buy it directly from Vultr.

So, their share is 65% of the cost (that's 180% of the original cost of the VPS) for management if we suppose that they don't have an agreement with Vultr with lower prices and they pay Vultr the same price normal customers pay.

I think they should review their pricing strategy and improve their "Standard Support" quality and response times if they want to keep growing their userbase and prevent their current users from leaving.
