Domainkeskus Review

It feels like this service was built for developers, not for people like me who just want to use it.

I've been a Domain Keskus customer for a year. The quality and structure of the service are generally good. But the 'user experience' of the admin panels is terrible. I've never seen this in any other online service: if I need to restore or reset a forgotten password, I have to:
1) Post a request in the contact center chat.
2) Get a special email address from them where I can supposedly solve the issue.
3) Send another request to that email and wait for who knows how long for a reply.
Right now, my issue still isn't solved. I still can't get into my admin panel because I forgot my password and there's no way to reset it automatically on the website.

Also, there's no single, clear place to access all the services I've bought. You have to save the correct link addresses somewhere for each type of admin panel, or you'll waste time searching through their complicated library of 'Advice and answers'. I guess this kind of logic might be okay for developers.

I didn't want to continue the customer relationship, and then came a collection letter. However, the matter was sorted out quickly. Thanks for that, a collection bill shouldn't have even come in the first place, but this did cause some frustration and extra work for me.

I've tried to remember a few times if, in my 30-year business journey, I've ever come across a similar setup. I honestly don't think I have.

I need to sit down for coffee sometime and try to figure out how on earth you build a company where the service works, time after time, regardless of the situation or time of day, in a bewilderingly straightforward way and at a good level.

Absolutely awesome customer service. Things get done quickly and effortlessly with solid professional skill.

A working web host, domainkeskus might not be the best option but at least it's the cheapest for the first year.

Their services work, and it's good enough for many people who just need a working web host, but still, some features are missing from cPanel that other web hosts have.

Also, support currently prioritizes Plesk even though the first choice for many customers is cPanel, but support has said that more cPanel guides should be coming.

However, there are quite a few bad things about Domainkeskus, for example there are no instructions for certain add-ons or they just don't work, like 'Search Engine Optimization Lite' doesn't work right now, no instructions or settings for it are available even though it's included in the web hosting.

Also, their own web interface is made for Plesk users so there are a lot of extra settings you can't modify.

Support is okay, but the opening hours on the homepage could be stated better, support isn't available on weekends even though it says 'Chat 08-00' without any extra info, is the chat open every day or just on weekdays?

There's a lot to improve, but since support has already promised to fix many things, I could quite confidently use their services.

With over 20 years of entrepreneur experience, I've never gotten smoother service from anywhere 😊

I solved updating a file from the old Dreamweaver 8 graphics program and opening it in the new cPanel environment.

Absolutely diamond customer service, which was open late in the evening.

Setting up records and redirect parameters were unfamiliar to me and I got into trouble with them, of course late in the evening. However, customer service responded almost immediately and the person serving in the chat knew how to explain even difficult things clearly. In addition, he helped fix the records I had wrongly created with his own hands.

The service experience with just two days as a customer is completely diamond. I warmly recommend and especially because of the speed, clarity, and friendliness of the customer service.
