I've been using Hawk Host for a few years and I still host with them. I love this company!
Hawk Host is the hosting company I recommend for most websites. They have great uptime, they have good features like litespeed, and they have a nice choice of server locations. Their support has always been quick to answer my tickets and fix whatever is wrong, even when it's my own fault! When you send a ticket, they reply really fast. I don't remember exactly how long, but it was definitely within a few hours, or less.
I have a reseller hosting plan and a semi-dedicated hosting plan with them. I've compared their hosting to a lot of other providers and Hawk Host is the best value. They have the best prices, best support, and best features I've found. Unless you're hosting a huge web application or have traffic way above normal, then Hawk Host should work fine for you.
I usually host WordPress sites on their hosting. I use the Redis caching and litespeed features to speed up my sites and my clients' sites, which helps a lot. I also host my email on their servers. It works great and I have no complaints. I really don't get what the negative reviews are talking about. I haven't had any issues losing files, and their support has always been nice, responsive, and super helpful. Happy Hawkhost customer for the past 7 years I don't usually leave reviews, but need to add my experience with Hawkhost over the 7 years I've hosted with them.
I've hosted both personal and business sites with them, using shared and VPS, and some sites with high traffic. Their hosting has been excellent, uptime excellent, and more importantly, I think their support is the best. I have never had a ticket take over an hour to get a reply, even in the middle of the night if something breaks. They really have 24x7 support.
Their servers are fast because I don't think they pack them too full. 7 years ago I moved away from two big name hosts because their servers were terribly slow. I couldn't be happier with that choice. I'm always happy to recommend Hawkhost to colleagues looking for low cost hosting.
