Great service above what was needed
We recently needed to ask inMotion support to safely update our site's PHP version to meet our website's needs. We are not power users. While we can keep the WP site content up to date, we are nervous about messing with the code underneath. So we opened a ticket.
Eric Ca. replied within minutes of sending the request. He offered to either guide us or do the update for us. We chose for him to do it and soon after he said the PHP version updated successfully. I went to the site to check nothing looked different and all looked ok. That is until I cleared the cache. Then things started looking weird with slider images missing and other gaps, plus things in the wrong place. Eric stuck with it and found the theme was old. I got the latest version, but that didn't fix it. He looked deeper and found a misbehaving Constant Contact form plugin. Turning off the plugin fixed our website.
We are really grateful for Eric's persistence and troubleshooting that went past just our first request. This is great service. Thank you.

I have been using InMotion Hosting for around five years, and during this time it has been one problem after another, especially with the email servers, which are often down or not reliable.
Their customer service has also been disappointing. On a recent support chat with an agent named Bryan W., he didn't seem to fully get the problem, couldn't fix the issue, and didn't effectively pass it on or refer it.

Don't host with Inmotion Hosting Company, They don't care
I was supposed to pay to renew my hosting, but my country went into a political lockdown and internet was shut down for almost a week, then internet was back but not fully and websites still couldn't load right, I could not communicate nor do anything because of having no internet, so I couldn't even pay for like two weeks, then Internet was fully back and I wanted to pay for my hosting, to my shock I find that all my data had been deleted and they said I did not communicate in that time.
I did not stay quiet on purpose, I just did not have a way to communicate, they could not wait for two weeks to hear what I had to say and I was told my data was deleted just 7 days after not hearing from me, so in just 7 days, they deleted all my data, and just say I have to start all over from nothing.
If I had known all this before, I would not have hosted with this company. Honestly, I would not tell anyone to host with InMotion Hosting Company. They have terrible service.
