InterServer Review

I'm in the process of moving 30 of my client's domains and cloud hosting to Interserver because they've been so good. The prices are unbelievably low (in a good way) and their support is the best. They're not like those big companies like Hostgator or A2 that seem to just care about sales; they're a smaller business that actually looks after their customers. I'll never leave as long as they keep being the top service in my lineup.

The best support and services, very professional. No regrets at all, they reply quickly.

Dennis N. is the most skilled datacenter guy I've ever talked to. We were swapping a drive and some problems popped up that I couldn't handle. I called tech support and they connected me with Dennis. He spent hours sorting out the new drive UUIDS and all that, and didn't charge us anything! Dennis really deserves a promotion—he's a wizard with software and knows what he's doing. Thanks for the help; if he hadn't done it in an hour, it would've taken us forever.

I'm pretty new to InterServer.net, with 4 machines hosted there (2 in NY, 1 in TX, 1 in CA). As a newcomer, I've had a few hiccups. But every time I've opened a support ticket (about 6 times so far), they've been absolutely fantastic. They're patient with someone like me who's still learning, kind, understanding, and super knowledgeable about their services. Their answers and help have always been spot on. I couldn't be happier. They sold me a server that was faulty. First, they sent a password, but the login needed a certificate. Then I found out they installed the wrong OS instead of what I ordered. Later, the server kept going offline multiple times a day. Each support ticket took at least 1-2 days to get a reply. After 10 days, they said they'd replace the disks. I can't use the server and have to reinstall everything. The tech support was awful. The issue did get fixed eventually.

I've been creating websites since 2017 and I've tested lots of hosting services. GD, NC, FH, and others—none compare. I'm writing this after getting amazing, quick help with transferring a domain from another registrar to IS. I've used IS for 5 years now and it's been great. The prices are affordable, and the support is super responsive. I don't know how they manage it, but I love it! Please stay the same.

I wrote a review before about ASP.NET hosting on InterServer, and my views are a bit better now as a customer.
The hosting is good for the price, but there are some details that matter for projects.
I had everything set up right (with support's help), but I notice downtime every day, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes up to 15 minutes. That's why I took off one star.

Also, to update my project, I have to manually stop the pool, and uploading takes a while, at least 3 minutes.
This is annoying because if I don't stop the pool, I get an error. Another star off.
If InterServer can fix the frequent short downtimes and let me upload without stopping the pool, I might use it again.

NOTE: I stopped using it on October 6th, 2025, since I need a hosting that works smoothly.
I trusted InterServer, but these small issues really affect my projects.
I also spent money on pre-paid funds, and now I have about $123 left unused.

Interserver.net is an outstanding infrastructure provider. Their prices are highly competitive, and I've had no issues or downtime except for well-announced short maintenance windows. I tested them across 5 servers over 9 months, and the available ISOs let me make out-of-band changes easily. Upgrading nodes mid-term is simple and fast with a provider manager. They're my go-to for cloud infrastructure now.

The availability of officials who are there to help, immediate response and they are understanding

I've been with Interserver since March 2019, and my experience has been mostly positive. The server performance is strong and reliable. Ticket support can be a bit slow to respond, but the team is always friendly and helpful when they do. Phone support, though, answers fast and gets things done. Resizing my server was easy. A big plus was when they recently moved my VPS between data centers and kept my old multi-year billing plan in place. They really value long-term customers. Interserver gives solid performance and support that cares.
