Can't transfer my site

Can't transfer site, coming up to a month. I have been trying to transfer a site for a long while now and have not been able to due to broken internal processes.

Shopify has outgrown itself and has not enhanced its processes to keep up. Support is useless, and there's no urgency for any issues.

Like everybody else has mentioned. Shopify is full of scam websites. If you see a website hosted by Shopify or Shop, run as fast as you can.

They allow scam sites. I bought 2 sweatshirts and a T-shirt from Stay Another Day. I should have checked them first. The 2 sweatshirts eventually turned up, bad quality. The T-shirt never arrived. Loads of excuses from the Company why no refund.

Horrible app and company

Horrible, almost every time you buy something online it goes to Shopify and especially on Facebook.
I have one order I complained about that was never sent, shopify have now deleted all information about it, it was a jacket from Bergrens, NEVER RECEIVED OR SENT ......
Then I have an Order from TheKiddo space, it's an electrical ball, NEVER RECEIVED AND NEVER SENT. I tried many times to contact shopify but no Response and it's hard to find out how to contact them.
I had two Orders from this company...they always try to make you buy more, all of them are a SCAM.
KEEP AWAY. Order from Temu or alibaba, eBay, they are more reliable.

Terrible Shop App and the Trendify store on it

In November, I ordered a pair of shoes from a store called Trendify, through the Shop app. Trendify took my money and never sent the shoes. I contacted both the shop (very sketchy and unresponsive) and Shopify. Shopify 'help' was not particularly helpful, saying they are not responsible for the shops THEY represent on their platform. I have repeatedly tried to communicate with both Trendify and Shopify. Now Trendify is impossible to contact. I believe that Shopify should be more helpful both in their handling of problems and in vetting the shops they choose to represent on their platform. All stores on the Shop app/Shopify ought to be on the alert. Consumers need to know that the Shop app doesn't care about us. The experience I had casts a negative pall on every shop using this app to sell their merchandise.

Ho acquistato un giubbino Colmar e mi hanno consegnato un giubbino economico di tutt’altra fattura. Avendo pagato in contrassegno, solo una volta aperto il pacco mi sono reso conto del raggiro.
Ho provato più volte a contattarli (solo tramite WhatsApp) perché non hanno altro contatto, ma nulla, non rispondono.
Procederò con denuncia presso le autorità competenti, mi dispiace informarvi che menzionerò anche la vostra piattaforma in quanto dovreste garantire ai clienti la corretta e lecita attività che supportate.

I closed my small business down December 17th and my plan started November 1st. After talking to customer support and them talking to the billing department, they refused to give me a refund. So for the next 10.5 months, I will be paying for a website that is not even live. They talk about how they are always there for small businesses, but this is how they treat their customers.

Shopify's chargeback policy hurts sellers

"Shopify allows chargebacks to be processed even if the order has already been cancelled and refunded. A chargeback happens when a cardholder disputes a charge with their bank, and the bank starts the chargeback process on its own, no matter what the order status is in Shopify. If a chargeback starts after a refund, the chargeback still goes ahead, and the seller has to deal with it." I'll add this: customers who do chargebacks are sent to sellers by Shopify through their payment processor Stripe. It's double damage for any seller caused by Shopify and Stripe together.

Trying to set up my shop for 4 weeks now

Trying to set up my shop, four weeks struggling with Support, handed over from one support person to the next. No real problem-solving, just the same questions asked again and again. Not working.
They keep promising to get back with an answer within 24 hours. The clock is ticking four weeks now, no progress at all.
Even an email to executive support didn’t help, not even an acknowledgment that the mail was received.
Zero stars is what they would get.

Be careful...you WILL be charged

I set up a store. I then sent an email trying to cancel. It was not cancelled and I was charged $370 in May. Even though no traffic or activity was done for over 10 months (since Feb), they would not credit me for the remaining portion of the year I have paid for (Dec to April). They are just raking in money for unused products. Since when is it okay to charge people for a service not provided or used?

I can't sell anything from my store!

It wasn't too hard to set up the shop, but having a shop that I can't sell from is useless!
I wouldn't recommend using Shopify. I can't set up the payments section. Their support team made a quick effort, then just gave up! I wasted two weeks or so creating this site, another 10 hours trying to set up payments, another 4 hours with their support team, and now I'll have to start again from scratch with a better provider – probably Shop Wired, who are gaining many shopify customers. Look around before you waste time building a store that you can't sell from.

Such a scam

Such a scam. I canceled my service after being led to believe I was paying a promotional price. I repeat CANCELED my store but was charged still for $68.00. Trying to get my money back is a joke. Apparently, they are telling me what they are willing to give me back which is half of my charge. It's literally highway robbery. Beware. I really wanted this to be something good and really was excited about working with them. But they are crooks and make up their policies it seems as they go. It's a money game and they will take whatever they can get access to if they can. And what am I to do. It's corporate. It sucks. Don't make the same mistake I did.

I have been trying to get them to change my phone number for a few months, so I could log into my account. They want too much personal info to do that. My real rating is -10. My experience is as a buyer. They keep old data and use stale information when you try to buy something. In my case, they kept the old expiration date and CVV code when my credit card was renewed. It took two weeks and countless hours to sort it out. If a store uses Shopify, I try to find the item somewhere else. Or I just find an alternative. I refuse to shop at a store that is willing to subject customers to the invasion of privacy Shopify uses.

Beware of selling on shopify
I just started off with selling on Shopify, looking for a good platform to sell online, but before I knew it they closed the store without any prior warning, no support at all. I appealed it, sent in the relevant documents and they still denied it, and are holding my money which should be returned, no support at all. Basically if you sell on Shopify they can close your store and leave you like that with no support and not refund you at least for a while.

I spent 7 days creating a store and hooking it up to Printify. Their UI and instructions are not good. There is no escalation of support and their line support just copy/paste responses with no real help. When I ask for a supervisor, they say it is not possible, there is only the first line chat team. I said I need help and all they would do is refer me to their support documentation and not actually help with specific issues. Finally I asked if they could just look at my store and explain why I was having the issue. There was Zero Help. I said perhaps I should go to another platform and they said I understand your frustration and still offered zero help. Great waste of 7 days for a platform that doesn't care.
