My experience with SSLs.com was good. Installing SSL can get tricky with CSR files and private keys and all that. I had a few technical problems at first, but the support people were really patient with me. I gave them a new CSR from my server after verifying the domain, and they did a manual reissue and walked me through fixing everything. In the end, the SSL worked fine and installed with no more trouble. I'm thankful for the help and how they sorted the problem.

First off, the prices are amazing. I didn't see prices that low anywhere else. I checked a few other places just to compare, didn't spend all day on it. Their website is mostly easy to use, but yeah, there was one step that could be better. They have a few ways to prove you own the domain. The email method didn't work for my friend's small business site because they don't use a custom email. So I had to use a different method and the instructions were a little tough, and I know my way around tech stuff. So why the five stars? Because it was still pretty straightforward and fast. Took me about an hour total, mostly because I had to figure out how to get into the hosting server to place a file. But after that, my friends had a valid SSL for their site. I'd definitely recommend SSLs.com and I'll buy from them again next time I need a certificate, as long as the prices stay low.

I think the service is reasonable but I had an incident. I guess it was just bad luck. For some reason someone tried to verify my organization using the wrong email and I still have a pending phone call, though that's kind of my fault because I'm changing my legal phone number for OV right now. Since this was my first time setting this up, I can't really blame you, but there was either: 1. Some miscommunication between Sectigo and the agents that contacted me, leading to them using old info after I opened a ticket. Or 2. An attempt of fraud from a phone call. An agent called me saying they were from Sectigo but my legal phone number isn't even available as far as I know! Anyway... I'll give the service another chance in the future. It could have just been a mix of bad luck and me struggling with the initial setup, since most reviews I see are positive. Thanks for all the help!

I loved that there were step-by-step guides to help install the certificate. This was huge because I don't install certificates often. One minor thing: It felt a bit strange that I had to use a third-party tool to combine the key and certificate into a pfx file, but it did work. It would have been nice to just select my host technology (IIS 10 in my case) and get the right file directly.
