Glad I took a chance on them
My current certificate was up for renewal, and the price seemed extremely high for a DV wildcard certificate. I asked ChatGPT for a list of highly rated companies. SSLs was one of them. I was a little concerned since I never heard of them. After some research, I found they were a sister company to Namecheap, which I use for all my domain names. I was also worried as their price was 81% less than I was currently paying for the same certificate from the same company. At that price, I decided to give it a try. I was amazed at how simplified the process was. I didn't even need to generate my own CSR. I only needed to make a CNAME entry in DNS for domain verification, and my certificate was issued. There were also easy instructions on converting the new certificate to a PFX format for Windows. Within 30 minutes I was done, start to finish. I'm very happy with the whole process!
