The pricing could be improved, especially when considering credit options. If we don't use credit, it would be helpful to have a payment system that allows us to pay the following month. Such a system is needed.

Dealing with Ultahost support is a totally different experience depending on which agent gets your ticket. Recently I had a superb experience with "Frank Cole", his response was efficient and professional. Other agents like "Mason" in the past have been extremely helpful too. But I have to say, the agent who took my ticket before Frank Cole ("Alex Cyan") was the exact opposite and I had to ask for another agent to handle my ticket.

All I have left to do is test their server availability and see if they're truly anti-DMCA (as much as the law allows in the relevant country). A really unprofessional team
I had two servers with Ultahost, and their support made a major error. I just asked when the last backup was for one server—I never said to restore anything. But they went ahead and started restoring my site without my permission, and to top it off, they restored from the wrong server. This level of carelessness is not okay, especially from a hosting company that promises reliable support. Losing or overwriting data because support doesn't check first is a huge warning sign. I've used many hosts, but this Ultahost experience was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional. If you care about your data, keep your own backups—don't trust their team to do anything right.

Unclear policies and robotic, contradictory support
I totally agree with a lot of other reviews here, my experience was pretty much the same.
I got a VPS Basic plan and was happy with the performance, good speed, decent network, no technical problems. But the real trouble started when I contacted support to add a simple reverse DNS (PTR) record. Their own docs say you can set PTR by contacting support, but the support team refused, confusing it with the port 25 block.
They kept saying PTR is “not available on plans where port 25 is blocked”, even though I clearly explained (twice) that I don't need email or port 25, I just needed PTR for server authentication. Every reply looked copied and pasted, nobody actually read what I wrote. The answers didn't match their own anti-spam policy or FAQ, which say nothing about PTR being limited.
In the end, I decided to cancel and ask for a refund, which they did quickly, but only because I pushed for it. It's so disappointing that such a simple request turned into this frustrating loop of robotic replies and contradictions.
