be careful this is scam company , i ordered a vds on 25/7/2025 after i received it the CPU & memory was very high without any operation so i canceled the server after 15 min , they don't want to give me a refund ! SCAM company
Anti free speech and a slow network in South Africa
My site had a few pages criticizing someone who sent a DMCA email to Ultahost. Ultahost then shut down my services and refused all refund requests, even 8 days after I started. They reacted with what seemed like legal paranoia and no desire for free speech at all. The VPS in South Africa was really slow for network/file transfer, often down to 50KB/sec, which I think was due to congestion between there and my 1.2 Gig home connection in the UK. The Swiss VPS was fast though. I was denied refunds even though I met the requirements on their refund policy page. Their sales person just made up a new rule: you need an active monthly billing cycle. Dishonest and deceptive. I wanted to like Ultahost but it was below average this time. I hope they improve, they have the technical skill, they just need the management will. James

I used Ultahost for hosting an Ark ASA server. The server was very stable the whole time I used their services. When I reached out to customer service and opened tickets, they were always very quick to reply and were very helpful. Ryan Brandon, Roland Smith, and Samuel Hall were the three Customer Support Staff I dealt with the most. Things like how to manually roll back my server without opening a ticket each time and helping me find which add-ons were stopping me from seeing the game on the main menu. So thank you again to those staff members. I will happily come back to use Ultahost services again.

UltaHost support found my ISP routing problem
My Palworld server on UltaHost in Singapore had really high ping. I sent them a traceroute and their support saw right away that my connection was going a weird way through Japan, then the US, then Australia before even getting to Singapore.
They told me what was happening in a way I understood and said it was my internet provider's fault, not their server. They even told me to try a VPN to avoid the bad route, and guess what, it worked. Now my ping is good and everything is stable.
I was really impressed with how pro and helpful their support team is. Definitely recommend them.

Cannot look into abuse report correctly, their message say abuse report running ponzi hyip phishing if ask them response.
They got my report but they say they cannot do anything with reports from personal email like Gmail or Outlook.
So they just ignored my report because my email is personal.
They say they only check reports from real companies or groups with official business emails. They say this is their policy for security.
If you are from a company, send again with your work email and all the proof like email headers and screenshots. Then maybe they will check.

Worst hosting I've ever used in my life
I've done WordPress stuff for more than 7 years, over 250 projects on all sorts of hosting shared, VPS, dedicated from SiteGround, IONOS, AWS, you know them all. UltraHost's shared hosting? By far the absolute worst I've ever touched.
Their servers are a total joke. The numbers they say they have are not true at all. Just trying to put one picture up gave a 500 error. Updating a simple plugin would make the CPU usage go crazy high. It feels like the servers are from 10 years ago with almost no memory.
And the support? Terrible. They don't know what they're doing, they lie, and they are rude. They avoid problems, won't admit there is a clear issue, and have zero professionalism. From my first day I made tickets and every single time it was a fight. Nothing got fixed, they just made excuses.
I tried one more time with their VPS. We'll see if that one actually works. But for shared hosting, never ever again. I wouldn't tell anyone to use this, not even someone I don't like.
The whole thing was a disaster. I'm tired just thinking about it. I already asked for my money back. Hopefully they can do that one thing right.
