Webdock Review

Webdock has my back! I am running a small digital agency and hosts 80+ clients sites. Webdock makes me sleep tight at night and is a rock solid hosting solution for small and big clients alike. Superb support and great performance for an awesome price.

I have used Webdock since their beginning and love it. Faster, better and more value for my money. Hence the five stars.

The servers are fast, easy to configure and blazing fast to create (no clue how they do it). After moving a project to the Webdock infrastructure, from one of the other providers out there, I could notice a big improvement in loading times, just by running the out of the box Web server image configuration they provide. Probably the best less known feature from Webdock, is the ability to quickly and easily create backup of the servers and restore them. This saved my back more than one time, when certain upgrades I've made to my projects went not as smooth as expected. It took literally 1 minute to rollback to the latest stable configuration. The support is great, with really fast response times and helpful staff. I've been using Webdock for a few years now and I can truly say that they are the best in the business.

Despite the fact that the service has uptime 99.99%, and the monthly price is really low, the support team are always there to assist!! Sunday 24/01 evening time and during my business travel I had an e-commerce website broken because of improper nginx/varnish configuration from my side concerning the SSL automate re-issuance/update procedure. So I sent a ticket to support and they responded immediately, they explained the issue and they fixed it, on my behalf! Webdock, so far has the best server configuration for any purpose. And, their service and upgrade/downgrade from one plan to another is seamless and madly crazy (superb).

Many user said they are great, but to me they are really unique. They do a lot of heavy lifting. Semi managed they say, but almost any issue you throw at them, they fixed it. Their engineers worked endlessly if there is a hardware issue. They are not ashamed of telling about downtime. Their status page is open for public. And they listen to the user about providing more information on the status page. Again, they want to fix things if anything goes wrong. Their offer are great. Not the cheapest by dollar, but the value you get is hard to find any other competitors. There are tons of extra that they provide without additional charge. However be advised, having a provider too good can make a user get lazy. While they are this good in taking away tons of chores of maintaining a server from user, I would say the user should also get hands on and manually doing maintenance just avoid getting rusty. And last thing, they do only monthly payment, it almost as if they dont want user to commit for long term. I think they believe people do stick with them after actually using their service, and people actually do. It is risk free to try for around a day for their server before user get billed. Cancelling anytime, and the unused credit will be refund. So be forewarned, they are this good.

It is rare to see any server vendor that can provide such high performance at such a low price! More suitable for building a website.

Webdock has by far the best specifications for a cloud server. Be it for hobby or a good load production server, you guys covered it. Support by the team is the best I have experienced. Rock On!

After having tried several cloud providers, I am now settled with Webdock. My old server with a major cloud provider, was twice the cost, and had an avg 80% load. But with Webdock, my server has not crossed even a 20% peak load in the last few weeks.

I have been through a number of hosting providers. Either DNS was slow, or I was required to upgrade my plan with every further step I took, or I just could not get anywhere on my server. With Webdock.io that’s different! Their prices are great and I have my ‘own’ SSD Micro Ubuntu Focal Fossa LEM stack running WordPress. Let’s Encrypt free SSL/TLS certificates can be installed from the dashboard and configuring http2 is a breeze. Can’t complain about my site's WebPageTest and - Lighthouse score, either.

I use Webdock for my standard page and for one of my webshops. I did too much monkeying around at one point and had my webshop crash.. I just hit webdock up and they saved and restored my shop within MINUTES. It's fast. It's cheap. ANNDDD they offer great service.
